This is a beloved Welsh family recipe which is over two hundred years old and is still as delicious today as it was then.
We are lucky to collaborate with the ‘Wrexham Cider Company’ who’s cider is the most perfect addition for our Apple spread.
Taking the best apples from our crop, we slow cook them in dry cider, until all liquid evaporates leaving a crisp sharpness with a mellow sweetness.
This complex spread is amazing with really strong cheese, cold cuts as well as being fabulous on a sandwich.
It looks divine on any dinner table and makes a perfect gift.
