Drunken Apple Butter

Don’t let the name fool you into thinking this is a dairy product. Butter merely means to spread. Our recipe is over two hundred years old and is still as delicious today as it was then.

Taking the best apples from our crop, we slow cook them in dry cider, until all liquid evaporates leaving a crisp sharpness with a mellow sweetness.

This complex butter/jam is amazing with really strong cheese, cold cuts as well as being fabulous on a sandwich.

It looks divine on any dinner table and makes a perfect gift.
