The history of this marmalade spans centuries and its recipe was discovered by accident, in a letter hidden in an antique cook book.
It has taken almost 8 years to get right, and we are proud to boast that by using meticulous research we have successfully recreated a flavour from the time of Elizabeth the 1st.
All the spices used are exact to the period, Grains of paradise, Long Peppers, Cubebs, Saffron to name a few.
